Threat from Weapons of Mass Destruction

London, UK - 11 March 2003, 18:00 GMT - Research by mi2g, the world's leading digital risk specialist, has revealed that a 'blended' terrorist approach, combining the dual threats of chemical and cyber warfare alongside conventional bombs, represents potentially the most worrying threat to western society as these are the most likely tactics to be employed by terrorists in the early 21st century.

The research released today, 18 months after the September 11th disaster, suggests that the risk from suicide bombers is also a serious threat but the risk from biological, nuclear or radiological weapons is less grave.
